HairyTales was established in 2013 to provide parents with an easy salon experience that meets their child's haircare needs. Our stylists are patient, friendly, creative, and attentive to each individual child. We strive to create a calm and safe environment for all children, and help to ease the stress of haircuts for parents. Our stylists are trained intensively to tailor their skills to the challenges of children's haircare. We are a salon that you and your child can trust.

My name is Miss Ashley and I am a graduate of La Baron Hair Academy in Brockton. I have lived here in Plymouth most of my life and saw a great need for a child exclusive salon. Before my hairdressing career my background was working with mentally challenged individuals in the home.

​I found my prior experience gave me an edge in working with children as I can work fast and calmly in a high stress environment. I have always loved being around small children and I really enjoy helping them build confidence in their appearance.

​My hope is to build a great foundation for your child’s haircutting experiences and make them feel as great as you do when you walk out of the salon!

Hello! I'm Lacey. I am a graduate of Plymouth South Cosmetology and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Framingham State University. I have lived in Plymouth my whole life, and know the community well.

I have always had an inclination for working with children. I understand how difficult and scary haircuts can be and I have built my experience upon understanding and connecting with each child's needs. Spending time with children gives meaning to my work, and has taught me to be patient. I love being able to make a child smile and feel important.

My goal is to not only provide a great haircut, but to establish a trusting relationship with you and your child.
